The end

Well I still haven't got round to doing any of the things I mentioned in my post below, of course. Everything is a bit up in the air just now with new jobs and flats etc. etc., so everything is on hold for the next month or so. When I eventually get round to re-doing my website I'm going to start a new blog, so this is the end of this one. Farewell, nice things etc!

Degree....DONE!

well well. again, a long time without posting! Here's a picture of the degree show. Now I'm all done with uni, I'm planning on a bit of a revamp of this blog, and will be setting up shop on etsy in the near future. And I'm going to make a better website which I will spend more than 3 hours putting together like I did on my existing one.... Watch this space!

As for the show, our class's work looks excellent, I feel very proud! Well done everyone!

Farewell Studio

Yesterday was our last working day in the studio. Although this year I didn't work constantly there (most of my work has been done on my bedroom floor) I still felt very sad to pack everything away! The next picture i'll post here will probably be of my degree show, which I am very very excited about. I can't wait to see everyone's stuff, but at the same time it's very sad that it has all ended so quickly....

Hurrah

I feel like I'm finally getting stuff done, now I have my first completed spread for my children's book, at long last! Yaay!

Typewriting

I've just been busy clacking away on this old typewriter my friend bought a couple of years ago in a charity shop, then after deciding she didn't need it, kindly gave it to me and my flatmate! It needs a new ribbon but it produces an embossed effect if you press the keys hard enough...

This book is amazing, I saw it here last week and couldn't help buying it...

And again...

another long non-blogging period! I've just finished (almost.... I need to do the lettering now, and photoshopping, then layouts etc etc) the illustrations for my children's book project, phew! Here is one of the spreads with Max eating brambles.
